NETZSCH Fine-Grinding Service offers you
Your advantages
Fine grinding – dry
The fine grinding of dry products is our core competence. Our extensive machine program offers the right solution for nearly all of your tasks. Finenesses of 1 µm (d97) into the millimeter range can be achieved, repeatedly.
Classifying
The CONDUX high-performance classifier type CFS/HD-S classifies finest particle fractions without any problems. Both the separation of undesirable coarse particles (e.g. grit) as well as the clean de-dusting of fine portions down to a range of 1 µm (d97) are possible.
Packing
If you need your final products specially packaged - no problem! Depending on your demand, we pack your products in big bags, barrels, drums or tanks.
Analyzing / Quality Control
The measuring devices installed in our well equipped analysis laboratory are naturally also available to you as an individual service! Particle size determination using laser diffraction measuring devices, screen analyses with air jet- or vibrating screens as well as determination of moisture are all part of our service for you!

The fully autogenous grinding performed by the Fluidized Bed Jet Mill is carried out via a gas stream so that no wear of grinding tools can occur. The settings of a dynamic air classifier integrated into the housing, control the desired final fineness. The grinding method of this mill enables it to break down the hardest of products as well as extremely temperature sensitive Materials, due to the lack of heat development in the jet mill during processing. Finenesses ranging from d97 1 µm to d97 70 µm can be achieved.
The Classifier Mill combines a mechanical impact grinding tool with an integrated dynamic air classifier. With the help of this air classifier, very fine grain sizes of less than 10 µm can be achieved, without the disadvantages of an external closed loop classifying system. The self-regulating, internal circulation of the coarse material in the classifier mill makes its method of operation not only stable but also energy efficient. The actual grinding process takes place between a peripheral grinding track and the beaters.
The Universal Mill is a fast rotating impact mill that can be used to break down a large range of products with a Mohs hardness of up to 3 to 3.5. The mill can be "universally" equipped with a diversity of grinding tools designed to fit your application, which makes it possible to operate as a blast mill, pin disc mill (single rotating and counter rotating), beater mill as well as a ridge disc mill. The finenesses that can be achieved with the CUM range between 30 and 800 µm (d99), depending on the product characteristics and grinding tools used.
Fine-Cutting Mills can be used to pulverize impact resistant, soft, elastic products. The feed product is cut by rotating knives and stationary knives built into the machine housing. In the bottom part of the housing a sheet screen with selectable hole sizes, determines the final size of the product. The most common finenesses range from 0.2 - 1 mm (or larger).
This High–efficiency Fine Classifier is designed to achieve cross cuts ranging up to d97 2 µm. Guide vanes positioned around the classifier wheel combined with fresh gas disperse the feed product and short channel it to the classifier wheel. The high number of dispersion points and the short distance to the classifier wheel reduce the possibilities for the product to re-agglomerate.
Additional improvements to the classifier wheel geometry make fines dimensions possible that were not achievable with common air classifiers in the past.
