混合是一种常见的生产过程。通过混合，至少两种物质尽可能均匀地混合在一起。混合过程通常伴有除气过程。
因在混合过程中，随着粘度的升高，一些空气会留在料浆中，从而导致一些问题，如氧化，油和脂的腐败，香味散发，涂层多孔和斑点。而经过除掉气泡后，产品质量改善，稳定性和耐用性提高。
