More info about our lecture

Discover firsthand how our software will help you to enhance your wet grinding process. With an intuitive machine interface, IRIS can guide the mill operations by the batch controls, display production indicators, and provide various tools for you to continuously optimize your production rates. And to increase production visibility by having real-time data available anywhere, whether to extract insights or be notified of any production deviations, you’ll also find out how Notify can help you. We are thrilled looking forward to seeing you during both products launch.

When faced with developing formulation, innovative strategies and laboratory equipment in the early development stages are essential to the success of your project. In the webinar the functional principle of different laboratory machines and the transferability of the results to the real production scale will be discussed.

In the wet grinding process, horizontal agitator bead mills have gained acceptance due to their simple operation and effective control of the comminution process. In the dry process, rotating bead mills are still used with the known advantages and disadvantages.

NETZSCH has experience in controlling wet agitator bead mills from under 1 kW up to 3 MW. The presented development proof the transfer of the characteristics from a horizontal wet mill to the dry operation.

The presentation deals with the development of the technology and shows the potential of this type of mill by means of selected examples. Experience covers two modes of operation. One is the continuous operation, where the product passes the mill once and is discharged. And the other is the classifying operation, where the mill is operated with a dynamic inline air classifier.

Test and laboratory data as well as the results of analyses are the key for successful development of new processes. First of all, it is desirable that the results of tests, regardless of who worked on them, are always documented according to the same criteria so that a representative and reproducible report is created. Furthermore, the report should be laid out in such a way that the results, comments and notes, when read later, provide a clear and complete description of the experimental procedure and the results without additional explanations from the previous processor.

Numerous errors can be avoided in the preparation and performance of experiments, in sampling, sample processing, analysis and documentation. This webinar provides suggestions and ideas on how, for example, the results of tests with agitator bead mills can be documented and stored, and which errors can creep in during the experiment, sampling, characterization and evaluation.

When you acquire NETZSCH equipment, it is our commitment to keep it in operation under optimal performance through the rest of its lifetime.

Attending this webinar, you will discover which are the best solutions to have your machines and installations always ready to go, and for sure, we are not talking only of spare parts and repairs…
