Silicone

Sealants are used to close gaps and joints, as well as to make buildings or equipment tight. They are applied in liquid to semi-fluid form or as flexible sections or sheets. Differentiation is made between two types, the "ductile compounds" for connection joints and the less ductile "elastic compounds", which are mostly used for expansion joints.

The "ductile compounds" consist primarily of polyisobutylene or butyl rubber, or contain acrylate. Among the "elastic compounds" are silicone compounds, polysulfide compounds or single/multi component compounds based on epoxides, polyurethanes or combinations of bitumen and polyurethanes or polysulfides. PMH and PML Planetary Mixing and Kneading Machines are especially suited for the production of sealants. BP Tank Press-outs can be used to empty the system tanks of the mixing and kneading machines.

PMH / PML Planetary Mixing and Kneading Machines

The NETZSCH planetary mixing and kneading machines show their true magnitude with difficult-to-disperse products and high viscosities. In particular, dispersion of finely-powdered and lightweight components in liquids is accomplished extremely quickly with product-specific mixing elements such as crossbeam and butterfly agitators or various dispersion disks.

PMH 1 / PML 1 Laboratory Planetary Mixer

For challenging mixing tasks involving small quantities of high- and medium-viscosity products, our PMH 1 or PML 1 Laboratory Planetary Mixer is the machine for you. The compact table-top model provides for ease of operation and homogeneous mixing and de-aeration of your product.

VMS - Vertical MaxShear Rotor/Stator Mixer

Featuring a precision high-speed rotor, which creates a vigorous pumping action as it draws liquid into the stator inlet. Liquid is discharged at high velocity through machined slots in the stator.

Dry Grinding

Products & Solutions in the field of Dry Grinding
ConJet® High-Density Bed Jet Mill

The ConJet® high-density bed jet mill is a spiral jet mill combined with a patented dynamic air classifier. This classifier enables the ConJet® to achieve highest finenesses independent of the product load, and therefore also highest throughput rates. Applicable for finenesses from 2.5 to 70 µm (d97).

Machine sizes available for grinding air volumes from approx. 50 to 2,400 Nm³/h.

CSM Classifier Mill

The dynamic air classifier integrated into the grinding chamber housing of this fine impact mill manufactures fine particle sizes with a defined maximum particle size limitation. Internal classification of the coarse material results in a more stable and energy efficient process than a mill with an external classification circuit. Applicable for finenesses from 10 to 150 µm (d97).

Machine sizes with drive capacities from 1.5 - 250 kW and air volume of approx. 50 - 26,000 Nm³/h.

ConJet® 10 and ConJet® 16 High-Density Bed Jet Mills

A new interpretation of the spiral jet mill – with grinding finenesses adjusted by an integrated air classifier – for even steeper particle size distributions.

For finenesses from 2.5 to 70 µm (d97).

Machine sizes with grinding air capacities of approximately 35 to 125 Nm³/h.

CSM 50 and CSM 80 Classifier Mill

The mechanical impact mill with highly developed classifying technology – solid, robust, precise upper particle size limitation.

For finenesses from 10 to 150 µm (d97).

Machine size with grinding air capacity of approximately 100 to 180 Nm³/h.

CGS 10 and CGS 16 Fluidized Bed Jet Mills

The smallest jet mills for virtually contamination-free fine grinding with an integrated classifier wheel – highest finenesses also achievable with the hardest of products.

For finenesses from 2.5 to 70 µm (d97).

Machine sizes with grinding air capacities of approximately 35 to 125 Nm³/h.

LabPilotPlant

Truly a flexible laboratory system – with reproducible results – variable for ultra-fine grinding and classifying – for laboratory operations or the continuous production of small batches!

Classifying

Products & Solutions in the field of Classifying
Bora - Air turbo classifiers

Bora air turbo classifiers have been developed specially for ultra-fine products with high added value.

CFS/HD-S High-efficiency Fine Classifier

The requirements of many product applications such as improved separation sharpness and finer cut points, are no problem for the CFS/HD-S range of High-efficiency Fine Classifiers.

Thanks to the maximum predispersion of the product to be classified, the targeted cut point and sharpness of cut can be optimized distinctly.

Available for finenesses from 2.5 to 60 µm (d97).

Machine sizes available for gas volume from approximately 50 to 16.000 Nm³/h.

InlineStar High-performance Fine Classifier

This newest fine classifier was conceived to combine with an upstream mill. The direct integration of the InlineStar classifier behind a mill creates a continuous grinding/classifying plant that reduces the number of required plant components.

Available for separation limits from 2.5 to 60 µm (d97).

Machine sizes available for gas volume from approximately 350 to 2.600 Nm³/h.

CFS 5 and CFS 8 Fine Classifiers

Efficient separation of grain sizes and effective results for both coarse material and fine material separation.

For separation limits from 10 to 250 µm (d97).

Machine sizes with gas volume of approximately 25 to 145 Nm³/h.

CFS 5 HD-S and CFS 8 HD-S High-efficiency Fine Classifiers

The smallest for the finest – exact separation results for superfine powder through best possible product classification with the sharpest separation and maximum gains.

For separation limits from 2.5 to 60 µm (d97).

Machine sizes with gas volume of approximately 25 to 145 Nm³/h.
