Cellulose Derivatives

The product group "cellulose derivatives" is subclassified by the type of chemical treatment into cellulose acetates, cellulose ethers and cellulose esters.
The technical applications of these materials are found in fibers, films, photographic films, glass substitute and paint binders or paper pastes, adhesives, soaps and synthetic resins.
A big consumer is the building industry, which keeps plaster, cement, wallpaper paste or special adhesives free-flowing with cellulose-based thickeners. Preferred substances are the so-called cellulose ethers, which include, particularly in the construction sector, methyl cellulose (MC), hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC), carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and methylhydroxy propyl cellulose (MHPC). The food industry also depends on the thickening effect of cellulose ether, which slows the melting of ice cream for example. In this field there are high standards for the raw materials that are used.

SecoMy® S Fine Cutting Mill

The fast operating fine cutting mills SecoMy® S are the choice for the pulverization of fibrous, ductile, soft, viscoplastic or temperature-sensitive products. In contrast to classic cutting mills, final finenesses of up to 45 μm can be reached in a one-step process with the SecoMy® S

SecoMy® Fine Cutting Mill

The fast operating fine cutting mills SecoMy® are the choice for the pulverization of fibrous, ductile, soft, viscoplastic or temperature-sensitive products. This type of cutting mill distinguishes itself through the optimization of number and position of the knives and the high cutting stroke rate.

Machine sizes available with drive capacities from 37 to 200 kW.

CS-Z Fine Cutting Mill

These fast operating fine cutting mills are the choice for the pulverization of fibrous, soft or elastic products. This type of cutting mill distinguishes itself through the optimization of number and position of the knives and the high cutting stroke rate.

Applicable for finenesses from 0.1 to 3 mm (d97).

Machine sizes available with drive capacities from 15 to 90 kW.

CGS Fluidized Bed Jet Mill

The combination of an air jet mill and a dynamic air classifier represent fine dry grinding in perfection. The highest of final finenesses with an exact maximum particle size limitation become reproducible. The development of the new e-Jet® and s-Jet® grinding methods constantly yields new, interesting areas of application, both economically and technically. Applicable for finenesses from 1 to 70 µm (d97).

Machine sizes available for grinding air volumes from approx. 50 to 12,000 Nm³/h.

Impact Mill Condux®

The mechanical fine impact mill or centrifugal mill is usually operated in the form of a pin disc mill, blast mill, wing beater mill or grooved disc mill. Many products and finenesses for a wide variety of applications are processed with the universal mill, with a wide range of rotor and stator combinations that can be easily changed. Applicable for finenesses from 30 to 800 µm (d97).

Machine sizes with drive capacities from 1.1 - 250 kW and air volume of approx. 140 - 31,000 Nm³/h.

CSM Classifier Mill

The dynamic air classifier integrated into the grinding chamber housing of this fine impact mill manufactures fine particle sizes with a defined maximum particle size limitation. Internal classification of the coarse material results in a more stable and energy efficient process than a mill with an external classification circuit. Applicable for finenesses from 10 to 150 µm (d97).

Machine sizes with drive capacities from 1.5 - 250 kW and air volume of approx. 50 - 26,000 Nm³/h.

CGS 10 and CGS 16 Fluidized Bed Jet Mills

The smallest jet mills for virtually contamination-free fine grinding with an integrated classifier wheel – highest finenesses also achievable with the hardest of products.

For finenesses from 2.5 to 70 µm (d97).

Machine sizes with grinding air capacities of approximately 35 to 125 Nm³/h.

CSM 50 and CSM 80 Classifier Mill

The mechanical impact mill with highly developed classifying technology – solid, robust, precise upper particle size limitation.

For finenesses from 10 to 150 µm (d97).

Machine size with grinding air capacity of approximately 100 to 180 Nm³/h.

Impact Mill Condux® 60

The universal laboratory mill – flexible, easy to operate! For a high variety of products and finenesses.

For finenesses from 30 to 800 µm (d97).

Machine size with grinding air capacity of approximately 70 to 280 Nm³/h.

LabPilotPlant

Truly a flexible laboratory system – with reproducible results – variable for ultra-fine grinding and classifying – for laboratory operations or the continuous production of small batches!

Classifying

Products & Solutions in the field of Classifying
Bora - Air turbo classifiers

Bora air turbo classifiers have been developed specially for ultra-fine products with high added value.

CFS/HD-S High-efficiency Fine Classifier

The requirements of many product applications such as improved separation sharpness and finer cut points, are no problem for the CFS/HD-S range of High-efficiency Fine Classifiers.

Thanks to the maximum predispersion of the product to be classified, the targeted cut point and sharpness of cut can be optimized distinctly.

Available for finenesses from 2.5 to 60 µm (d97).

Machine sizes available for gas volume from approximately 50 to 16.000 Nm³/h.

InlineStar High-performance Fine Classifier

This newest fine classifier was conceived to combine with an upstream mill. The direct integration of the InlineStar classifier behind a mill creates a continuous grinding/classifying plant that reduces the number of required plant components.

Available for separation limits from 2.5 to 60 µm (d97).

Machine sizes available for gas volume from approximately 350 to 2.600 Nm³/h.
