There is no question that ceramic inkjet printing processes brought a revolution into the manufacturing of decorated tiles.

Since the very beginning, NETZSCH has accompanied the development of ceramic inkjet technology. The first batch of pigmented ceramic inkjet was produced in December 2005 using a NETZSCH LabStar laboratory mill. Since then, we have been at the forefront of this technology and the first point of contact. The System ZETA, with an 80 % market share, is the renowned milling system in the industry when talking about wet grinding of ceramic inkjet inks.

NETZSCH is known worldwide for offering complete solutions for ceramic applications. SpheRho® Dry Agitator Bead Mill

NETZSCH is expanding its product portfolio with an agitator bead mill for the dry grinding of mineral and ceramic raw materials. The SpheRho® impresses with very high product fineness and high throughput rates with low specific energy consumption.

CGS Fluidized Bed Jet Mill

The combination of an air jet mill and a dynamic air classifier represent fine dry grinding in perfection. The highest of final finenesses with an exact maximum particle size limitation become reproducible. The development of the new e-Jet® and s-Jet® grinding methods constantly yields new, interesting areas of application, both economically and technically. Applicable for finenesses from 1 to 70 µm (d97).

Machine sizes available for grinding air volumes from approx. 50 to 12,000 Nm³/h.

s-Jet® Steam Jet Mill

The s-Jet® System (patent pending) is a new innovation in a line of consistent developments being made in the area of air jet milling. Final finenesses in the submicron range (example: d50 0.2 µm) can now be achieved with fluidized bed jet mills. As opposed to conventional dry grinding processes with fluidized bed jet mills, the s-Jet® System uses superheated steam as its milling gas.

Epsilon Inline Disperser

With the Epsilon, NETZSCH offers a new, compact solution for producing homogeneous dispersionswith reproducible quality in an inline process. Here, the dispersion process takes place in an atmospherically sealed processing chamber and is thus dust and emission free.

MaxShear Inline Disperser

Compact enough to be included at virtually any point in your process. The self-pumping portable unit features rotor/stator based technology with multiple stator configurations available.

NETZSCH Omega®

Successful dispersion requires targeted force in order to separate agglomerated particles. The Omega® Economic Disperser applies dispersive forces then and there, where they are especially effective: in the Omega® disperser body, energy is transformed into very high speeds under pressure.

The LabStar laboratory-scale agitator bead mill is one of the most successful machines in the history of NETZSCH-Feinmahltechnik GmbH. With the new Alpha® Lab laboratory agitator bead mill, the concept of the new generation of agitator bead mills, presented for the first time in 2015 with the Alpha®® 22 and the Alpha®® 45, has been consistently transferred to the laboratory mill.

MiniSeries / MicroSeries - Laboratory Mills for Product Development of Smallest Batches

The compact, universally applicable laboratory circulation mills of the MiniSeries impress with their easy handling when processing very small quantities from 0.25 to 0.5 l up to particle sizes in the nanometer range. It is possible to conduct many tests with low loss of product and significant results within a short period of time.
