Great Response to the Family/Neighborhood Party at NETZSCH in Tirschenreuth

Tirschenreuth, 12 October 2013 – The employees from the NETZSCH factory in Tirschenreuth proudly introduced their company to friends, family and everyone interested. Many guests took the opportunity to learn about employment and the manufacturing range at the NETZSCH-Feinmahltechnik GmbH production facility. Among the guests was the Chairman of the NETZSCH Group Dietmar Bolkart and his wife, as well as Roland Stöckert, one of the Managing Directors of NETZSCH Feinmahltechnik GmbH.

During tours of the warehouse area and Quality Control, to the new production machines and through the Welding Department, the visitors gained insight into all of the manufacturing processes that are feasible and doable in Tirschenreuth thanks to modern production capabilities. In the training workshop, with the newly-commissioned CNC milling machine and the recently-commissioned CNC lathe, they also got to look behind the scenes. A total of 12 apprentices work there, 9 of whom started their training to become machinists (milling and lathe technology) in four age groups. In addition, apprentices are training to become industrial mechanics and one student is participating in a dual study program.

In order to show the visitors the machines manufactured by NETZSCH, typical mills were exhibited in various sizes: an LMZ 10 agitator bead mill represented the production machines and the LabStar laboratory mill represented a complete small-batch plant. In the Laboratory Machine Assembly Department there was also a live grinding demonstration on a MiniCer® laboratory mill.

So during the course of the day there were many conversations among friends, colleagues and guests. Of course there was also plenty to eat and drink and every visitor received a small memento.

"With almost 700 guests, our party was a great success" concluded Plant Manager Robert Meißner. "Not only the family members of our employees, but our direct neighbors as well, took this opportunity to have a look behind the scenes of our factory."
