Talc

The matt white lustrous mineral talc (magnesium silicate hydroxide) with the chemical composition [Mg3(OH)2(Si2O5)2] is one of the phyllosilicates and has a Mohs hardness of 1. 
Talc has many varied applications and is used, for example, as a finely-ground filler in the paper and pulp industry, the paint and dye industry as well as the rubber, plastics and ceramics industries. The mineral is even used in the pharmaceutical industry, for example as a base for powder or as a mold-release agent in the manufacture of tablets. Its high temperature resistance makes talc an important component of fireproof materials such as ceramics. Additional applications for talc can be found in such fields as electrical engineering as an insulation material or in food technology as a releasing agent and as a carrier substance for dyes.

Impact Mill Condux®

The mechanical fine impact mill or centrifugal mill is usually operated in the form of a pin disc mill, blast mill, wing beater mill or grooved disc mill. CGS Fluidized Bed Jet Mill

The combination of an air jet mill and a dynamic air classifier represent fine dry grinding in perfection. The highest of final finenesses with an exact maximum particle size limitation become reproducible. The development of the new e-Jet® and s-Jet® grinding methods constantly yields new, interesting areas of application, both economically and technically. Applicable for finenesses from 1 to 70 µm (d97).

s-Jet® Steam Jet Mill

The s-Jet® System (patent pending) is a new innovation in a line of consistent developments being made in the area of air jet milling. Final finenesses in the submicron range (example: d50 0.2 µm) can now be achieved with fluidized bed jet mills. As opposed to conventional dry grinding processes with fluidized bed jet mills, the s-Jet® System uses superheated steam as its milling gas.

ConJet® High-Density Bed Jet Mill

The ConJet® high-density bed jet mill is a spiral jet mill combined with a patented dynamic air classifier. This classifier enables the ConJet® to achieve highest finenesses independent of the product load, and therefore also highest throughput rates. Applicable for finenesses from 2.5 to 70 µm (d97).

CSM Classifier Mill

The dynamic air classifier integrated into the grinding chamber housing of this fine impact mill manufactures fine particle sizes with a defined maximum particle size limitation.
