Pharmaceuticals

The pharmaceutical industry manufactures active ingredients and additives that often require very small, narrowly-distributed finenesses into the nanometer range in order to achieve

  • Faster and greater effectiveness
  • More exact dosing
  • Fewer side effects
  • Greater bioavailability
  • Improved proportional dosing
  • Elimination of side effects from other foods
  • More predictable therapeutic effect
  • Targeted application
  • Improved safety.

Our machines can more than meet these requirements for end products with reproducible, consistent high quality. Depending on the specifications, the raw materials used are brought to a requisite surface finish with average surface roughnesses of Ra < 0.8 µm or higher qualities through appropriate pretreatment and finishing. GMP-compliant designs facilitate fast and thorough cleaning upon completion of a batch.

DeltaVita®

The comminution or desagglomeration of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) is called micronization and brings about several advantages. The increase of the particle surface caused by the comminution results in a considerably better dissolution rate and bioavailability of the agents and therefore the APIs act faster.

Circulation mill system Zeta® Type LMZ
