Retrofit – Your plant gets a new control system
In general, control systems and process management level are more short-dated than the processing plant itself. After a period of 10-15 years, these systems do not correspond to the state of art, spare parts (components, input terminals, computers etc.) for these units can hardly be bought or only at high expense. Software versions lag behind in the 4th or 5th generation. The processing plant is well maintained and can surely still provide its service for several years.

Process- and Production Management
The link between the control level and the ERP-access is the so-called MES-level (MES= Manufacturing Execution System).
This level is the direct access to the process on the one hand and the direct access to the production planning /production management on the other hand. Apart from the visualization, the issue of recipes and the administration of batches, batches are hold, process and production data are registered on this level, of course according to international regulations.

Recipe Administration / Recipe Editor / Batch Protocol
Recipes are production specifications and thus the basis of automatic orders. Recipes shown as tables can be generated, modified and approved in the recipe administration. The recipe administration contains recipe revision identification and files recipes to be archived with user code and date. Each process step and recipe head are provided with comment or user remark. The filing is carried out with user code and date. These are the status possibilities: "Recipe in Work"(that is no automatic order is possible) and "Approved Production Process".
Production / Batch Protocol and Archiving
The deviations regarding the production instructions (recipe) are recorded and archived. In manual operation, the filing is carried out via the module „Data Tracking“.
Besides product-relevant analog values, it contains error messages, the reaching of the temperatures, actual values of the dosing, etc.
All process-controlled signals such as valve status, operator input are registered. Temperatures, pressure, filling level etc. are cyclically filed in the data bench, in order to be able to trace all data relevant for a safe process. Naturally, this information is protected against manipulation and the registration is carried out according to international regulations.
Raw Material Management
All production-relevant raw material components with raw material number and identification are entered in the raw material list. This list is available when producing production instructions and enables an acknowledgement procedure with operator inputs during production.
