Considering the advantages of recirculation grinding like reproducibility of quality and easy automation customers are obliged to run on mills that provide sufficient flow stability in order to achieve proper recirculation conditions. To this day these high flow stabilities could only be achieved on high price mills with a special grinding chamber design based on a high relation of diameter against length. With the new Discus Intensive, NETZSCH developed a disc type mill that can be operated in pass as well as in recirculation operation – giving full flexibility in combination with attractive investment costs. The Intense Rotor design in combination with the ceramic liner is definitely at the cutting edge of technology and provides highest production capacities at low working temperatures. The webinar will explain the design of the new Discus Intensive and its influence on process setup. In addition process parameters and production capacities will be discussed.

Digital inkjet is a flourishing market, with fast growing new segments that hardly existed some years ago. In this talk, we will address the different segments, going into the process solutions by NETZSCH, covering the whole range of digital applications

We will share with you the binomial solution Epsilon-Neos for pre-dispersion and fine grinding of digital pigment inks or UV packaging inks; the combination of dry and wet fine grinding  S- jet& Zeta- for highest performance of Ceramic inkjet, among other solutions.

We are also explaining our work method: global process solutions are implemented locally together with our customers with a 360º vision, from lab to plant production and the complete  AfterSales service portfolio covering commissioning , maintenance and optimization.

Dry pigments are powders with various hardness or stickiness features depending of their origin, composition or production process. Milling them is thus a real challenge specially because this step strongly influences the end qualities of the product as dispersibility, coloration intensity and appearance of the surfaces.

The target of this webinar is to give you criteria for selecting the right grinding technology appropriated to your pigment. During this webinar, three different milling systems will be presented. Their operating process, their specific advantages and the influence of the working parameters will be described and discussed.

The Neos as a further development of the long-time approved Zeta® technology does combine the highest flow rates in combination with the smallest grinding media. The reason for the high flow stability of the Neos is the advanced rotor and separator design. As a standard the Neos comes with a ceramic liner that provides the highest cooling ability. Hence the Neos is operated at highest milling intensities at still moderate product temperatures.

The Webinar does provide information on important process parameters and preconditions for reasonable grinding processes in pass and recirculation mode. Furthermore the design and the features of the Neos will be explained. The final part of the presentation will show the process data that are achieved on different mill sizes.

Inline mixers, toothed disk mixers or agitator bead mills! Which process technology is the ultimate for adding solids to liquids quickly, safely and efficiently, or for optimal wetting?

I will not be able to answer that question in my 30-minute webinar.

However, we will show you the differences in design and process technology and provide an overview of the various selection criteria that facilitate optimum process integration for your application and workflows.

Practical examples and experiences will be used to explain important product characteristics such as viscosity and to compare the various batch parameters in connection with raw material properties and quantities.

As always - nothing is simply black and white – there is no wrong or right. The world we live in is diverse and colorful – and so is the selection of potential processes and process technologies.
